Transitional Housing and Support Program
for Victims of Domestic Violence

KCWA Family and Social Services is a non-profit organization established in 1985 by a group of women who were concerned with women and family issues and serves women, men, senior and youth all of them.

Transitional Housing and Support Program (THSP) is available to women and their children who are currently experiencing or have experienced domestic violence in the past. THSP services include the following:

  • Individualized safely planning, transitional planning, and setting realistic goals

  • Provision of resources and support for low-income families experiencing or have experienced domestic violence

    • Emergency shelter, subsidized housing, financial assistance, Legal Aid Ontario etc.

  • Referrals to other community resources based on nedds

  • Interpretation and translation support
